## Description

DOGO ART 2023 is an innovative arts festival designed to rejuvenate the Dogo Onsen area by blending artistry with the charm of local shopping experiences. Running from April 14, 2023, to February 29, 2024, the festival features prominent French architect, artist, and designer Emmanuel Moïho, who will showcase his symbolic artwork throughout the Dogo shopping district. The festival seeks to offer not only artistic installations but also delightful new experiences through a craft-centric approach.

Under the initiative of the Dogo Future City Development Committee, this festival builds upon Dogo Onsen's rich history of supporting the arts while aiming to attract post-COVID visitors. Various programs are planned, emphasizing the integration of crafts into the local culture. With vibrant, impactful designs that transform spaces, Moïho's works complement existing installations by renowned artists such as Shinro Ohtake and Mika Ninagawa. DOGO ART 2023 is a celebration of creativity, inviting visitors of all ages to embrace the joy of art and craftsmanship in a picturesque setting.
