## Description

Dogs and Zombies is a humorous illustrated storytelling blog that imagines life during a “new friend apocalypse” through the eyes of Dog, his Owner, and Zombie, a new companion who may smell like wet food. The site combines playful adventure, canine observations, and zombie-themed comedy, presenting the trio’s experiences as both entertainment and an amusing guide to getting through the apocalypse. Its recurring content includes Dog’s “Favorite Days,” adapted from his table-scraps book and Owner’s journal excerpts; Owner’s illustrated “Reasons Why You Won’t Survive the Zombie Apocalypse”; and Dog’s “Apocatips,” offering lighthearted survival advice inspired by everyday dog behavior. Posts are organized into these series and published on a regular schedule, with updates and additional content available through Twitter and Facebook. The blog also features Vol. 1 and announces plans for a second volume, extending its ongoing story and collection of illustrated posts. With Dog convinced that everyone is having a wonderful time and Owner anticipating trouble, Dogs and Zombies offers a distinctive blend of comics, character-led humor, and playful apocalypse fiction for dog lovers and fans of quirky storytelling.
