## Description

Le DAN is an aikido club based at the Palais des Sports Beaulieu in Nantes, France. Presenting aikido as both a martial art and a broader personal practice, the club introduces students to its physical techniques and relational dimensions. Classes are led by Philippe Doussin, a sixth-dan practitioner and student of Christian Tissier, who has taught aikido for nearly 40 years. The club welcomes newcomers to try a discovery class and provides information about registration and training.

For the 2026/2027 season, sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m., Thursdays at the same time for advanced and motivated students, and Fridays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for weapons practice, followed by unarmed training until 10:00 p.m. Le DAN also shares aikido news, workshops, photographs, and online class resources. Its Aïkido Training app offers videos of more than 700 techniques, with playback controls to help users study movements in detail. The club is affiliated with the FFAAA.
