# Dolls' Houses Past Present - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `dollshousespastandpresent.co.uk` ## Description Dolls' Houses Past & Present is a dedicated online platform launched in 2009 for enthusiasts of dolls' houses, ranging from antique to modern designs. As a valuable resource, the site serves collectors, conservationists, restorers, and hobbyists seeking to share knowledge and passion for this unique craft. It evolved from the need to fill the gap left by the International Dolls House News publication, becoming an internationally recognized source of information referenced by museums and specialists in the field. The community-oriented site features a comprehensive forum, extensive photo galleries, and databases that promote research on dolls' house makers from the 19th and 20th centuries across various countries including the USA, UK, Germany, and Sweden. Membership is free and encourages participation, allowing members to gain support in identifying manufacturers, restoration techniques, and sourcing materials for both vintage and contemporary dolls' houses. Run entirely by volunteers, Dolls' Houses Past & Present is a welcoming space for all who appreciate the artistry and history of dolls' houses and their accessories. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Antiques and Collectibles _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🎸 Models _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Hibiscus | #b4247a | accent | | Golden Grass | #cdb21f | dark | | White Linen | #faf3ed | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
