## Description

Domov Háj is a public social services organization established by the Vysočina Region in 2003. It supports people with intellectual or combined disabilities and autism, with eligibility from age 16 or 18 depending on the service. Its central aim is to help people live ordinary lives in their local communities, with a safe home and opportunities to take part in society.

The organization provides residential, outpatient and community-based services across the Havlíčkův Brod area and beyond. Residential options include a home for people with disabilities and supported living. Outpatient services include social therapy workshops in Světlá nad Sázavou and a day centre in Golčův Jeníkov. Domov Háj also offers social rehabilitation and support for independent living, including services delivered in clients’ homes.

Teams of assistants help clients with personal care and household tasks, develop practical skills, access healthcare and participate in community life. Residential services operate in five towns, while field services also reach the Jihlava and Humpolec areas. Through individualized support, Domov Háj promotes greater independence and inclusion.
