## Description

D.O.M. is a Brazilian restaurant in São Paulo, founded in 1999 by chef Alex Atala to celebrate the country’s biodiversity and culinary traditions. Its cuisine highlights native ingredients, including jambu, tucupi, açaí, priprioca and bacuri, bringing regional flavors to the table with technique, creativity and a distinctive contemporary approach. The restaurant’s research-led menus draw on Brazil’s diverse food cultures and landscapes. Alex Atala and Geovane Carneiro develop each menu through visits with producers and artisans, ingredient selection, tasting and testing with the kitchen team. The menu’s theme changes annually, and tasting menus feature signature ingredients such as Amazonian ants. D.O.M. was the first restaurant in Brazil to receive two Michelin stars when the guide arrived in 2015, and it continues to hold the distinction. In addition to dining, D.O.M. offers a private mezzanine for social and corporate events, with an exclusive house menu and seating for up to 20 guests. Reservations are available for lunch and dinner.
