## Description

Don Angie is a critically acclaimed Italian-American restaurant located in the West Village of New York City, specifically at 103 Greenwich Ave. Founded by Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli in partnership with Quality Branded, Don Angie offers a unique dining experience inspired by their passion for Italian cuisine. Angie Rito's love for Italian cooking was nurtured by her family's bakery in Cleveland, which has been operating since 1965. Scott Tacinelli, hailing from a New Jersey Italian-American family, developed his affinity for food and cooking early on. After working at renowned establishments like Quality Meats and Quality Italian, the duo joined forces to create Don Angie in 2017. Since its opening, Don Angie has received numerous accolades, including a glowing 2-star critic's pick review from the New York Times in 2018 and recognition as one of Esquire's Best New Restaurants in America in the same year. The restaurant earned a Michelin star in May 2021. In addition to their restaurant, Scott and Angie are co-authors of the critically acclaimed cookbook Italian American. With its comforting takes on modern Italian-American cuisine, Don Angie continues to captivate diners with its inventive menu, warm atmosphere, and dedication to quality.
