## Description

Donkeys of Pahrump is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sanctuary in Pahrump, Nevada, providing a safe haven for rescued donkeys, horses, and ponies. Its work centers on equine rescue, rehabilitation, and connection, offering animals hands-on care, shelter, and a peaceful place to live. The sanctuary has seven permanent residents and also fosters, transports, and helps animals find adoptive homes.

Open to the public year-round, Donkeys of Pahrump welcomes visitors of all ages to meet the herd and enjoy a family-friendly experience. Guests can feed and brush the animals in a safe, caring environment while learning about animal welfare and the sanctuary’s work. The sanctuary is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also invites volunteers to help with animal care and events.

Donations support food, shelter, and medical care. The online shop offers handmade goods from local artisans and branded merchandise, including mugs, soap, and candles. Through visits, volunteering, shopping, and giving, supporters help sustain the sanctuary and give equines a second chance.
