# Don't forget your shovel - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `dontforgetyourshovel.com` ## Description Don't Forget Your Shovel is a distinctive blog founded by Susan Arthure, an archaeologist who transitioned from a career in e-learning to pursue her passion for archaeology full-time. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Susan completed her Master of Archaeology in 2014 and is currently working on a PhD focused on the remains of Baker’s Flat, a nineteenth-century Irish settlement near Kapunda. The blog serves as a platform for Susan to document her research, share insights about her discoveries, and engage with a community that appreciates the intricate histories of early settlers in Australia. Reflecting her heritage, the blog's title is inspired by a song by renowned Irish artist Christy Moore, emphasizing the personal connection Susan has with her work. Readers can find not only interesting articles about her findings but also anecdotes and interactions with fellow archaeology enthusiasts, making it a rich resource for anyone fascinated by the intersection of Irish history and Australian archaeology. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id45g0bFQl/w/940/h/198/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1776946834345) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Chalet Green | #557232 | accent | | Science Blue | #0066cc | dark | | Havelock Blue | #68abde | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ - Georgia — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
