The DON'T WAIT Project is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on communities through the power of storytelling. Founded by Lisa Bradshaw, a widowed single mom and 24-year cancer survivor, the project aims to raise awareness about the importance of making positive life choices for the well-being of individuals, organizations, and communities. Inspired by her own experiences, Bradshaw realized the significance of living a DON'T WAIT life.

Through interviews with over 1,000 people, she discovered that our values shape our priorities and ultimately define our stories. These stories, or DON'T WAIT stories, represent the people, places, things, and ideas that we sometimes give up on due to fatigue, busyness, sadness, or comfort. The DON'T WAIT Project serves as a reminder to embrace these nouns in life, regardless of the obstacles we face.

The project offers various programs, including a film project called DON'T WAIT to UnMake for students in grades 4-12, exhibits featuring stories from cancer survivors, and interviews with seniors who have made significant contributions to society. By sharing these stories, The DON'T WAIT Project encourages individuals to live fully and embrace every opportunity life presents
