## Description

**Brand Description: Doon Animal Welfare Foundation**

Located in Dehradun, the Doon Animal Welfare Foundation is dedicated to the rescue and care of animals, particularly cows, which hold significant cultural and spiritual importance in India. Established in 2016 by Mrs. Milli Kaur ji, this Gaushala has grown from sheltering just nine ailing cows to becoming a refuge for over 2,000 cows and numerous stray dogs. The organization's mission centers on providing essential medical assistance, food, and shelter to un-owned street animals, while also fostering community awareness and advocacy for animal welfare.

Doon Animal Welfare Foundation offers a variety of programs, including an animal rescue hospital and shelters, ambulance services for both animals and humans, and educational initiatives aimed at promoting animal rights. Their ongoing campaigns and successful fundraising efforts, such as the Cow Sanctuary and Dog Sanctuary projects, exemplify their commitment to improving the lives of voiceless beings. Through compassionate care and community outreach, Doon Animal Welfare strives to create a nurturing environment for all animals while respecting the cherished bond between humans and cows.
