## Description

Dorchester Minor Hockey Association (DMHA) is a community-based organization dedicated to providing youth hockey opportunities in Dorchester. Its programs serve players from U5 through U18, with an Initiation Program as well as local league and representative teams. The association supports players and families throughout the hockey season with registration information, schedules, results, team-finding resources and guidance on participation.

DMHA also provides development opportunities, including optional summer skates for U7–U18 players and dedicated ice time for goalies. Its website offers resources for coaches and team officials, such as qualifications, manuals, roster and budget worksheets, travel permits, tournament support and reimbursement information. Families can find details about player development, Respect in Sport, volunteer bonds and association policies, while coaches and participants can access safety and emergency-planning materials.

The association hosts the annual Jake Marczenko Memorial Local League Tournament, welcoming U11, U13, U15 and U18 teams. Through its programs, events and practical resources, DMHA helps organize local hockey participation and build opportunities for young players and their families.
