Double Proficiency is a Finland-based, two-person indie studio that designs bespoke, human-made tabletop role-playing games and supplements. Its work combines storytelling with the natural world, while also spanning science fiction and fantasy. The Natural World Library includes the Herbalist’s Primer, Geologist’s Primer, Mycologist’s Primer, and Zoologist’s Primer: Birds, offering themed resources centered on plants, minerals, fungi, and birds. For adventures and play, the studio offers the Wayfarer’s Deck, the Conqueror and Duelist supplements, and the Globetrotter’s Guide to Greenery. Its titles also include The Phantom Manor, a listed adventure, and the science-fiction RPG Aphelion and science-fantasy RPG Aurorae. Double Proficiency shares project news, development updates, and articles through its website, and invites visitors to explore its work or collaborate with the studio.
