## Description

Dover Fringe Festival is a community-focused performing arts festival organised by Dover Fringe Ltd in Dover, Kent. The festival brings performances to audiences across five venues, with a varied programme spanning poetry, theatre, music and comedy. Its aim is to offer a wide range of shows for different tastes, with most performances generally free to attend and operating on a “Pay If You Want” basis. Some ticketed shows may be available at particular venues, and audiences are encouraged to leave a tip if they enjoy a performance.

The festival’s 2027 dates are planned for 14–16 May, with a possible additional weekend on 21–23 May, depending on whether the dates can be filled. Organisers are also discussing the possibility of adding a film festival. Artists can sign up for updates about applications, expected to open in September 2026, while visitors can subscribe to the newsletter for programme news and show reminders.
