## Description

Downend & Frenchay Tennis Club (DFTC) is a family-friendly tennis club based within the grounds of Frenchay Cricket Club. A registered charitable incorporated organisation, the club welcomes players of all ages and abilities and provides opportunities to learn, improve, play socially and compete. Its facilities include four outdoor, all-weather courts with floodlighting, supporting play throughout the year.

DFTC offers adult and junior coaching, cardio tennis, holiday camps, team tennis, club competitions, junior competitions, social tennis and leagues. Players can book courts, including through a pay-and-play option, and the club invites those who enjoy tennis to explore membership. Club kit is also available to buy.

Alongside tennis, DFTC highlights the sport’s potential benefits for physical and mental well-being, as well as the chance to make new friends. The club shares news and event information through its website and social media channels. Visitors are advised to take care around cricket balls and machinery when entering or leaving the grounds.
