## Description

DOWN SKIS is a global freeride ski company creating originally designed skis and selling them directly from the factory to customers. Founded in 2009, the brand’s factory-direct model cuts out middlemen and their markups, allowing it to offer competitively priced skis while emphasizing high quality. Its collection includes the Countdown, Showdown, Throwdown, Lowdown and Downsize series, with options spanning freeride, all-mountain, freestyle and touring categories. Some models are offered in carbon versions, and the site features an outlet with discounted previous-season skis and refurbished test-fleet equipment. Beyond skis, DOWN sells bindings and branded apparel and accessories. For shoppers unsure which model to choose, its ski-finder tool is designed to help identify a suitable match. The company also shares stories about its products and the freeride community, and introduces its athletes, ambassadors and professional skiers. With a direct-to-customer approach and a focused range of equipment, DOWN SKIS serves skiers looking for purpose-designed gear across varied mountain disciplines.
