Downtown Ithaca, also known as the Ithaca Business Improvement District (IBID), is a dynamic urban core located in Ithaca, New York. Established in 1997, Downtown Ithaca spans 12 square blocks and is dedicated to revitalizing, developing, promoting, and managing the downtown area. The Downtown Ithaca Alliance (DIA) is a not-for-profit organization that works tirelessly to create a safe, vibrant, and inclusive community for all. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility are at the forefront of the DIA's mission. They value and celebrate the unique characteristics, backgrounds, and perspectives of every individual, striving to bring a diverse spectrum of people together to address community challenges.
