## Description

Deer Park Fastpitch Association (DPFA) is a community softball organization serving girls ages 3 to 16. It offers seasonal opportunities for players to develop their skills, enjoy the game, and grow through teamwork and sportsmanship. DPFA’s spring season is its competitive season: teams play against one another, scores are kept, and participants compete for first place. The fall season is designed as a learning experience, with no scores or standings recorded. Instead, the focus is on teaching softball fundamentals, building confidence, and preparing players for spring.

The association also welcomes community members who want to support teams as dugout helpers, assistant coaches, or team managers. All volunteers must pass a background check, and coaches must have an ACE Certificate before the first game. DPFA provides registration information for players and volunteers, along with resources including frequently asked questions, board details, field locations, and a Coaches Corner. Through its seasonal programs and volunteer network, DPFA helps young players learn, participate, and have fun playing fastpitch softball.
