## Description

Drastich is a Czech forestry and timber business based in Třešť, in the Vysočina region. Founded by Jiří Drastich in 1991, the company has grown from a small operation into an established partner for forest owners and businesses, guided by respect for nature, reliable service and customer satisfaction.

Its services include timber harvesting using harvesters and other forestry technologies, timber trading, transport and handling with specialist vehicles, and forest cultivation. Drastich also operates a forest nursery of more than 10 hectares, producing over 150,000 seedlings annually, mostly spruce. Customers can buy firewood, available in both coniferous and deciduous varieties. The company also breeds horses, now focusing on sport horses.

Drastich employs 15 people and has worked with hundreds of companies in the Czech Republic and abroad. Its partners include Lesy ČR, Stora Enso and Mendel University in Brno. The company also collaborates with the university on research into soil pressure and tree-root damage, applying findings to reduce harm from forestry machinery.
