Drayton Entertainment is an award-winning, not-for-profit charitable organization that produces exceptional live theatre experiences. With seven venues located in southwestern Ontario, each theatre maintains its unique identity while combining the strength and energy of all to offer an unparalleled entertainment experience. The story of Drayton Entertainment began in 1991 with the launch of the Drayton Festival Theatre under the leadership of Artistic Director Alex Mustakas. As popularity grew, additional venues were added, including the St. Jacobs Schoolhouse Theatre in 1997, the King's Wharf Theatre in 1999, and the Huron Country Playhouse in 2001. In 2005, the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse opened, followed by the Dunfield Theatre Cambridge in 2013, which was later renamed the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge in recognition of local philanthropists. These venues, situated in stunning locations, offer a diverse selection of shows throughout the year. Drayton Entertainment's unique business model ensures both artistic excellence and financial stability. As a leader in arts and culture in Canada, they have received numerous accolades, including 6 Lieutenant Governor's Awards for the Arts. Supported by a dedicated network of Members and volunteers, Drayton Entertainment is committed to giving back to the communities it serves, donating thousands of tickets to local charities each year.
