## Description

Driving Well Occupational Therapy is an occupational therapy practice serving Brisbane, Ipswich and the northern Gold Coast. It provides driving assessments and vehicle modification services to help people with medical conditions, disabilities or injuries access the community safely. Clients include older drivers experiencing age-related changes, people with chronic or neurological conditions, those recovering from orthopaedic injuries, and young or learner drivers with physical or learning difficulties. The practice also works with self-funded clients and people supported by the NDIS or other compensation schemes, including WorkCover and NIISQ.

Services include clinical and practical driving assessments for senior, medical and disability-related needs, learner-driver assessments using the Potential to Drive approach, and assessments for commercial vehicle licences, including trucks, forklifts and motorbikes. Driving Well can also support reporting, licensing requirements and funding applications for driving lessons and vehicle adaptations. Modifications may include hand controls, spinner knobs, wheelchair lifts, ramps, lowered floors, tie-downs and docking stations.
