## Description

Dr. Jennifer Dustow is an autism specialist, researcher, author, and Cognitive Behavioral Learning Specialist whose work focuses on learning and child development. She is the founder and director of Cornerstone Educational Preschool, a nonprofit, and has worked with hundreds of clients around the world over more than two decades. Her research on midline exercises (MLE) has been published in nearly 30 languages.

Dr. Dustow developed MLE as a set of simple activities intended to help the left and right sides of the brain work and communicate together. The exercises can be practiced in just a few minutes at home, in classrooms, or in office settings, and are designed to support focus and learning for children and adults. She also provides step-by-step training for educators, helping them introduce the techniques and adapt them to their classes.

Her book, Embracing Calmness, presents an accessible framework for using MLE, suitable for readers with varied levels of experience.
