## Description

The German Red Cross Local Association Biedenkopf-Wallau e.V. is a community-based organization serving the Biedenkopf and Wallau area. Founded in 2011, it brings together two longstanding groups: the Biedenkopf unit, established in 1902, and the Wallau-Breidenstein association, founded in 1957. Its work focuses on social support, medical services at events, humanitarian assistance and disaster response.

The association’s practical activities are carried out through its Biedenkopf and Wallau volunteer units. Residents can get involved by volunteering, becoming members or supporting the organization’s work through donations. The local association also shares information about blood donation and publicizes donation appointments in Breidenbach, Biedenkopf and Wallau, helping connect donors with the German Red Cross blood donation service.

For people seeking training, the website directs visitors to course offerings from the Biedenkopf district Red Cross association, with online booking available. News and service information help residents learn about local activities and ways to contribute. Through volunteer engagement and community services, the association supports preparedness, care and humanitarian assistance in its area.
