## Description

DRK Rettungsdienst Bodensee-Oberschwaben gGmbH provides emergency and patient transport services across the Allgäu, Lake Constance and Oberschwaben regions of southern Germany. With 15 ambulance station locations and more than 800 employees, it supports residents, visitors and tourists around the clock, every day of the year. Its services include emergency response, qualified non-emergency patient transport and operation of the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Integrated Dispatch Centre, which coordinates medical and fire-service emergencies. The organisation operates 19 ambulances, nine emergency physician vehicles and 24 patient transport vehicles. Its dispatch centre serves as a central point of contact during emergencies, while its teams aim to deliver rapid, skilled assistance and safe transport. Beyond frontline response, the organisation provides IT services through its own data centre, supporting its operations and the infrastructure of other German Red Cross associations in several federal states. It also offers training and career opportunities, including paramedic education, volunteer service and other roles. As part of the German Red Cross, the organisation focuses on dependable regional emergency care and public safety.
