## Description

The German Red Cross Quedlinburg/Halberstadt District Association is a regional charitable organization dedicated to helping people in need and promoting humanitarian principles. Its work reflects the wider mission of the German Red Cross: providing assistance in emergencies, supporting people facing hardship, and standing up for human dignity. The association offers a range of services for local communities, including support for older adults, services for children, young people and families, and assistance for people with disabilities. Its activities also include first-aid courses, rescue services, blood donation information, and help for people experiencing social disadvantage or difficult circumstances. The association welcomes community involvement through volunteering and membership; contributions help sustain its work and enable volunteers to support others. It also provides career opportunities, including a three-year training programme for care professionals, as well as vacancies through its job listings. Through these services, training opportunities and volunteer engagement, the association supports people across the Quedlinburg and Halberstadt area at different stages of life.
