## Description

The German Red Cross Ortsverein Möglingen is a local volunteer association serving the community of Möglingen. Founded in 1969 after an initial first-aid course, it has supported people in the area for more than 50 years through practical assistance, community involvement and a strong spirit of solidarity. The association has 547 members, including 18 active volunteers who regularly take part in operations and 529 supporting members who help make its work possible.

Its activities include medical services at public events, civil protection, social engagement, integration work and the “Helfer vor Ort” service, which provides local assistance during emergencies. The association also trains and prepares its volunteers, with practice sessions covering skills such as resuscitation and teamwork for medical service qualifications. Its members support community events in Möglingen and respond to needs beyond the town when required. The Ortsverein also contributes to local initiatives and public safety, reflecting its longstanding commitment to helping residents and strengthening connections within the community.
