## Description

The Drug Prevention Foundation is a Hungarian nonprofit organization that has worked on addiction-related issues since 1994. Its activities span universal, targeted and indicated prevention, treatment and care, harm reduction, and the prevention of infectious diseases associated with drug use. The foundation operates at two Budapest locations, providing outpatient care for people who use drugs through the Drogoplex Ambulance in District XV, and a low-threshold service for people who actively use drugs through the C.A.T. Civil Harm Reduction Social Contact Program in District XIII.

Its services include counseling, street outreach, health promotion, sexual education, and community education. The team also offers information and support to people who use drugs, their family members, students, and social care professionals, aiming to connect each person with appropriate care and guidance. Its wider activities include the Kronodrog program and resources for parents, including information on prevention, recognizing concerns, seeking help, and responding to emergencies. The foundation works with local and professional partners and shares publications, reports, and updates about its programs and activities.
