## Description

Droitwich Archery Society is a friendly, sociable archery club based in Worcestershire, England. Focused mainly on target archery, the club also has outdoor space for clout shoots, while members take part in County, Regional and National events. It is affiliated with the County of Worcester Archery Association, West Midlands Archery Society and Archery GB.

The society welcomes archers of all ages and experience levels, and supports a range of bow styles, including recurve, compound, barebow, longbow and American flatbow. Beginners’ courses run several times a year, follow the Archery GB syllabus, and are led by qualified coaches and experienced archers. Equipment is provided during the courses, and participants can apply to join the club afterwards.

Droitwich Archery Society shoots outdoors on its private field near Hanbury in summer and indoors at Droitwich High School during winter. It also hosts tournaments, including annual UK Record Status events, and offers club information and resources on scoring, awards, classifications and handicaps. The society is a company limited by guarantee, registered in England.
