## Description

Dubbo Regional Occupational Therapy (DROT) is a locally owned occupational therapy practice established in October 2023 by experienced Dubbo therapists Amy Hawkins and Erin O’Leary. Its team provides compassionate, high-quality services for adults aged 16 and over with physical disabilities, supporting clients through the NDIS, iCare, aged care and self-funding arrangements. DROT accepts referrals for functional capacity assessments, home modifications, equipment prescriptions and driving assessments.

Based in Dubbo, the practice serves surrounding communities across regional New South Wales, including Wellington, Mudgee, Parkes, Narromine, Coonabarabran, Cobar and Bourke. Its qualified occupational therapists bring diverse experience and aim to help people make positive changes by listening to their stories and supporting their needs. The team’s values include compassion, empathy, care, efficiency and reliability.

DROT also offers referral options for different services and funding pathways. The practice operates Monday to Friday and provides administrative support to clients and referrers. As a growing local team, it is committed to accessible, person-focused occupational therapy throughout its regional service area.
