## Description

Doctor X BV develops advanced research instruments that give scientists precise control over time, making ultrafast processes observable at the atomic scale. The company specializes in ultrafast electron techniques for microscopy, crystallography, and spectroscopy, helping researchers investigate physical, chemical, and biological phenomena that conventional instruments cannot capture. Its technology enables studies of events unfolding on femtosecond timescales, including phase transitions, terahertz-frequency phonon vibrations, and molecular-level photosynthesis dynamics.

A key offering is the Structural Dynamics Probe, a laboratory-scale system for single-shot ultrafast electron diffraction. Researchers can use a laser pulse to trigger a reaction in a sample and record atomic motion frame by frame. Doctor X also provides system modules, including photogun, compression, deflection, Lissajoux, and Clocx modules, supporting different instrument configurations and techniques. The company aims to make capabilities once associated with large accelerator facilities accessible to research institutes and universities. Doctor X collaborates with research institutions, universities, and industry partners worldwide to develop instruments that support new scientific research.
