## Description

Dry Lakes Racers Australia (DLRA) is the official sanctioning body for dry lakes racing in Australia. The club conducts Speed Week, an annual land-speed racing event at Lake Gairdner in South Australia, where competitors race cars, motorcycles and trucks in attempts to set one-way speed records. The expansive salt lake provides a distinctive setting, attracting racers from across Australia and around the world.

DLRA supports competitors and the wider racing community with information on vehicle classes and records, club rules, technical requirements, compliance and inspections. Its resources include guidance for drivers, vehicle constructors and race teams, as well as rookie orientation and information for officials and spectators. The organisation also provides event programs, entry forms and online pre-entry information, and publishes a quarterly newsletter.

Beyond racing, DLRA offers opportunities to volunteer at Speed Week, join the club, support its activities through fundraising and promote businesses through newsletter advertising. Its website features event news, results, a merchandise catalogue, a gallery and a forum, helping members and visitors stay connected with the sport and the annual event.
