Its holistic programme includes academic learning, sport, music, art, Christian religious education, computer lessons from Grade R, support teaching, and a range of extracurricular activities. A well-stocked library and school bus service further support learners and families. Deutsche Schule Durban aims to prepare children for high school and an interconnected world by fostering academic growth, confidence, cultural understanding, and global citizenship. The school also celebrates German culture through events such as Einschulungsfeier, Weihnachtsmarkt, and Laternenfest.
