## Description

DSO Grosuplje is a provider of residential care and support for older adults in Slovenia. Its first residents moved into the home on 24 February 1984. Set in a quiet area on the edge of Grosuplje, near a forest, the home accommodates up to 183 older people who are unable or prefer not to live alone or with family. The organisation also operates or develops several local units, including those in Loški Potok, Bloke, Sodražica and Višnja Gora.

Its services include accommodation, meals and social care, with information and support related to long-term care. Residents can take part in activities and occupational therapy, and the organisation publishes menus and service price lists. It also offers day care and services for external users. Meal delivery is among its listed services, although the home announced that it would stop accepting new users for delivery in Grosuplje from 1 June 2026. Through its care and community activities, DSO Grosuplje aims to support older people’s everyday needs and wellbeing.
