## Description

The Data Science Portuguese Association (DSPA) is an organization dedicated to empowering data science for a better world. It represents the data science sector and promotes the development and use of data science in Portugal and internationally. Its objectives include encouraging ethical, secure and well-regulated practice, supporting entrepreneurship and innovation among Portuguese companies, and fostering cooperation with public entities, businesses and universities. The association also creates opportunities for members and the wider community to exchange experiences, explore innovations and share case studies and success stories.

DSPA connects with professionals and organizations through its membership network, events and initiatives, including the INSIGHTS conference and Excellence in Data & AI projects. It offers training resources and professional development, including a renewed certification in Generative AI, as well as employment opportunities and job-advertising services. Its knowledge resources include a data science glossary, a short book on data science, and studies on data science and data ethics. Through these activities, DSPA supports learning, collaboration and responsible progress in data science and artificial intelligence.
