## Description

Duisburger Schwimmverein 1898 (DSV 98) is a family-friendly sports club in Duisburg, Germany, bringing together members of different ages and abilities through swimming, competition and recreational activities. Its 7,500-square-metre Inselbad beside the Bertasee offers a heated swimming pool, a children’s paddling pool, a spacious lawn, a playground, a beach-volleyball court, boules and table-tennis facilities, as well as a club café.

The club provides swimming lessons for children and adults, from learning to swim through to advanced skills and competitive training. Its water-polo section fields three men’s teams and a youth team, while the triathlon programme combines swimming, cycling and running, with access to the lake. Members can also take part in activities including beach volleyball, aqua fitness, winter swimming and boules. These recreational sports are included in membership.

DSV 98 highlights family-friendly conditions, youth development and community spirit, with opportunities for both casual participation and ambitious training. Its club app shares news, appointments, contacts and a water-polo live ticker, and its online shop offers club merchandise.
