## Description

Dementia Training Australia (DTA) is a national consortium supported by the Australian Government, focused on delivering high-quality education and training for the care of individuals living with dementia. Established in 2016, DTA collaborates with prominent universities and organizations to ensure a coordinated approach to dementia training throughout Australia. The consortium aims to empower caregivers and healthcare workers by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide person-centred care that enhances the well-being of those affected by dementia.

DTA offers a wide range of services, including online courses, workshops, and commissioned training programs tailored to meet the specific needs of organizations. Their training covers various aspects of dementia care, such as behaviour management, medication oversight, and creating supportive environments. Additionally, DTA provides valuable resources, practical tools, and supportive consultancy services to help organizations and individuals improve their dementia care practices. Through ongoing learning and community engagement, DTA is dedicated to fostering a society where dementia is understood and treated with dignity.
