## Description

DTRT Apparel Group is a West African apparel manufacturer established in 2013 by Ghanaian, American, and German entrepreneurs. Its name, “Do the Right Thing,” reflects a founding commitment to using the global apparel industry to support social good and economic growth in the region. Based in Ghana, DTRT supplies global brands with high-quality, cost-competitive apparel produced in a socially responsible manner. The company positions its manufacturing platform as a cleaner, more inclusive alternative to approaches focused solely on low-cost labor. It works with local and international partners and is expanding its operations through new technologies and collaborations. DTRT’s broader ambition is to help build a modern, circular apparel ecosystem in West Africa, creating opportunities for local communities and contributing to economic empowerment and upward mobility. Its purpose also includes preserving the planet, linking apparel production with responsible practices and community development. Through its products, manufacturing capabilities, and partnerships, DTRT aims to strengthen West Africa’s role in the global apparel supply chain while delivering practical value for both brands and local communities.
