## Description

DUCAT || UNIT is pioneering the realm of decentralized finance with its innovative Bitcoin L1-native stablecoin, UNIT. As the first of its kind, DUCAT provides a robust platform for Bitcoin-native DeFi, ensuring that transactions are not only efficient but also secured through over 160% collateralization with Bitcoin. The Ducat Protocol features advanced mechanisms allowing users to deposit Bitcoin, borrow UNIT, and engage in decentralized governance through distributed consensus.

With a focus on enhancing Bitcoin's programmability, DUCAT is closing the gap between Bitcoin and Ethereum-based financial solutions, thereby revolutionizing digital asset management. Users benefit from utilizing vaults for secure storage and borrowing, while also being engaged in governance through collective voting based on unique statistical indices. The integration of Bitcoin Runes further tokenizes the DUCAT ecosystem, establishing a seamless connection between Bitcoin's inherent security and innovative DeFi applications.
