## Description

Duchess Outlet, located in Pittston, PA, has been a trusted family-owned and operated brand for over 65 years. Our story began in 1958 when entrepreneur Sam Caprari purchased the historic Pittston Stove building and established the Duchess Coat and Suit Manufacturing plant. As one of the major players in the thriving garment industry of Wyoming Valley, the plant employed over 150 workers. To cater to the growing demand for discount retail, Sam's wife, Theresa, had the brilliant idea of opening a discount retail outlet, one of the first of its kind. Duchess Outlet quickly became known for offering premium outerwear at unbeatable prices. Theresa, who later became the company's vice president, broke barriers in a time when women in business were rare. Over the years, Duchess Outlet expanded its offerings and introduced exclusive collections. The store carries a vast selection of Madame Alexander Dolls, Hansa Toys, Folkmanis Puppets, Barbie Dolls, books, and more. In 2010, Duchess opened a Doll Museum, housing over 1,000 Madame Alexander dolls that showcase American traditions and stories. Today, the third generation of the family continues the legacy of providing high-quality merchandise and exceptional customer experiences. Duchess Outlet is also recognized for its numerous awards and honors, including Outstanding Retailer of the Year and Diamond Retailer of the Year for its selection of Madame Alexander dolls. With a commitment to customer satisfaction, Duchess Outlet offers hassle-free returns and personalized customer service. Enjoy free shipping on most orders over $25. Visit our website to explore our extensive product offerings and stay tuned as we continue to expand and write the next chapter of our story.
