Gymnázium Duhovka is a private Czech-English Montessori gymnasium located in Prague. We offer an eight-year gymnasium program with Czech or IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum. We also provide a four-year distance learning program with a high school diploma. Our gymnasium, situated in Prague 7, embraces the principles of Montessori pedagogy and fosters respect, collaboration, and creativity. We connect subjects and grades through practical projects. Our team of Czech and English-speaking teachers guides students towards independence and personal responsibility. We teach students to think critically and help them discover and develop their strengths. We believe that by nurturing students' lifelong curiosity and self-improvement, we prepare them best for the future. Our friendly, positive, and open approach creates a supportive learning environment. Lessons are divided into three phases: introduction to theory, practical application of acquired knowledge, and defense and presentation of their own conclusions. We want our students to be happy with themselves, equipped to adapt to changes, and capable of navigating through life. The study program concludes with an internationally recognized IB diploma or a Czech high school diploma, depending on the student's choice.
