## Description

Dungog Tea Party is a community-organised event celebrating tea, creativity and the cultural and natural heritage of Dungog, a picturesque rural area. Run by enthusiastic local organisers with support from sponsors, exhibitors and volunteers, the event welcomes both visitors and participants. Its activities include the annual Tea Cosy and Trivet Challenges, with entry forms available for the 2027 competitions and submissions due by 22 August. Winners will be announced at the free Open Day on 8 September 2027. The event takes place at the historic James Theatre, with free daily entry from 10am to 4pm and ample parking. Visitors can also look forward to related attractions around town, including high teas, workshops and market stalls, with updates shared through the event’s Facebook page. Dungog Tea Party invites people to enter the challenges, attend as visitors, suggest ideas for future competition categories, or get involved as volunteers and sponsors. Its website provides entry forms, prize information, event updates and a contact form for enquiries and feedback.
