## Description

Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda provides a dedicated environment for testing and demonstrating unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and their applications. Its services support Test, Experimental, and Demonstration flights, payload trials, concept of operations development, and flight crew training. The centre also facilitates experiments that integrate crewed and uncrewed airspace users.

Its ground infrastructure includes detect-and-avoid sensors for cooperative and non-cooperative air traffic, aviation-grade command-and-control facilities, C-band radio coverage across the available airspace, and 4G and 5G connectivity. These capabilities support beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) test flights within a 15-kilometre radius and up to 6,000 feet.

Dutch Drone Centre Aviolanda offers access to multiple test locations for civil and military flight activities, accommodating projects from technology readiness level (TRL) 3 through TRL 9. As a member of the European UAS Test Center Alliance, which serves civil and defence interests, the centre supports organisations developing, evaluating, and advancing uncrewed aviation technologies.
