## Description

Duval Baseball is a hitting instruction and performance coaching brand serving competitive high school and college players. Led by Matt Duval, it combines swing mechanics with the mental and strategic approach hitters need to perform in games. The coaching philosophy emphasizes having a plan at the plate and learning to handle failure without losing focus, helping players carry practice improvements into competition.

Players can choose in-person lessons in the Phoenix area or remote coaching from anywhere. In-person sessions are 30-minute, one-on-one hitting lessons held at an indoor cage or a player’s backyard cage. Matt serves Phoenix and nearby communities, including Scottsdale, Peoria, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Tempe, and Avondale. Remote performance coaching includes weekly calls focused on a player’s approach and games, along with reviews of swing and game video between calls; it requires a six-month minimum.

Players can sign up online, after which Matt arranges a session by text. The first session establishes the player’s current starting point and a plan for what to work on first.
