## Description

Need for Speed is a long-running racing video game franchise published by Electronic Arts, known for fast-paced driving, competitive events, and customizable cars. Its games place players in varied settings and let them race on roads and off-road courses, complete missions, and evade police. The franchise includes titles such as Need for Speed Payback, Unbound, Heat, Hot Pursuit Remastered, Rivals, Most Wanted, and Need for Speed No Limits.

In Payback, players explore Fortune Valley as three drivers—Tyler, Mac, and Jess—taking on races, challenges, and missions in a story about seeking revenge against the criminal cartel known as The House. Players can personalize vehicles with performance upgrades and visual customizations, then test their builds in races and police pursuits. Electronic Arts offers the game in Standard and Deluxe editions through platforms including the EA app, Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation stores. Optional add-ons expand the experience with additional cars, vehicle bundles, a story pack, map shortcuts, and a Deluxe Edition upgrade.
