## Description

Early Nurture Therapies is a children’s speech pathology service based on the Northern Gold Coast, Australia. Led by Jo, a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia, the practice supports children with speech, language, literacy and communication needs. Services are mobile, reaching families within a 30-minute radius of Ormeau, and telehealth is also available.

Therapy takes place in children’s homes, kindergartens and schools, where communication skills can be practised in familiar, meaningful settings and carried into everyday activities. Jo brings more than 10 years of experience supporting children with developmental delays, hearing or vision impairments, complex communication needs and a range of neurodevelopmental conditions. Her training includes Key Word Signing, PROMPT, Hanen, DIR Floortime, PODD and PECS.

Allied health assistants are also available to help children practise communication skills between sessions. The practice works collaboratively with children and families to create a nurturing, supportive environment and help children become more confident, connected communicators. Appointments are offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
