## Description

IDLE Protocol is an earnings platform that helps users put idle digital resources to work. Its IDLE AI router connects wallets, computers, GPUs, agents, datasets, and APIs with supported compute, DePIN, and yield venues, selecting routes based on yield, latency, and reliability. The router rebalances resources every five minutes, while earnings settle directly to the user’s Solana wallet in USDC. IDLE describes its service as non-custodial, with no setup fees and a minimum payout designed to limit transaction costs.

Users can connect resources through the platform, estimate potential earnings, and monitor routing and settlements. Available uses include selling GPU and CPU compute, offering agent capabilities for individual tasks, monetising data through metered queries, and exposing APIs through payment gateways. Wallet balances can also be routed to supported lending and liquidity pool opportunities. For developers, IDLE provides paid endpoints, a REST API, a Node.js SDK, and compatibility with the x402 payment protocol.
