## Description

earth2observe is a collaborative project funded under the DG Research FP7 programme, focused on "Global Earth Observation for Integrated Water Resource Assessment." The project, which began in January 2014 and runs for 4 years, aims to assess global water resources using new Earth Observation datasets and techniques. By integrating earth observations, in-situ datasets, and models, earth2observe constructs a global water resources reanalysis dataset of at least 30 years. These datasets are available through an open Water Cycle Integrator data portal, supporting water management and decision-making at local and global levels. The project utilizes findings from European FP projects to improve insights on water availability and pressures globally. Through case-studies worldwide, earth2observe aims to enhance regional water distribution efficiency.
