## Description

Earth Activist Training is a brand that focuses on permaculture design with a grounding in spirit, organizing, and activism. They offer a range of products and services aimed at co-creating a positive future, learning from nature, and standing together to address social and environmental issues. Their courses, both in-person and online, cover topics such as permaculture design, social permaculture, regenerative business design, and sustainable infrastructure. Earth Activist Training is committed to sharing their knowledge and resources with communities that face the greatest needs and have the fewest resources. Their mission is to teach visionary and practical solutions to social change activists while also empowering visionaries with practical skills, organizing techniques, and activism. Founded by author and activist Starhawk and permaculture designer Penny Livingston-Stark, Earth Activist Training has produced graduates who have gone on to initiate important projects worldwide, including intentional communities, bioremediation efforts, urban community gardens, and campaigns against forest clearcutting and GMOs. Their courses differentiate themselves by focusing on positive solutions, emphasizing hands-on learning, and featuring experienced teachers deeply involved in environmental justice and social change movements.
