## Description

The Earth Commission, a global team of scientists, is dedicated to defining a safe and just corridor for both people and the planet. Their focus is on ensuring a stable Earth where all living beings can thrive by setting 'Safe and Just Earth System Boundaries.' These boundaries are crucial in shaping future sustainability targets and practices. The Earth Commission synthesizes the latest scientific knowledge on clean air, water, biodiversity, healthy oceans, and a stable climate, which are essential for a habitable planet.

Aligned with the Global Commons Alliance, the Earth Commission's work guides the development of science-based targets for cities and companies to foster a prosperous future. Hosted by Future Earth, the Earth Commission is supported by leading social and natural scientists, working across four key workstreams. Join them in creating a just world on a safe planet.
