## Description

The Earth Science Career Event is a national career event for students and early-career professionals with a geoscience background. It connects attendees with companies, organisations and foundations working across earth sciences and related fields, offering opportunities to explore career paths and make professional contacts. The programme combines a busy company fair with subject-focused workshops, guest lectures and Meet & Connect interviews, where participants can introduce themselves to potential employers. A PhD Corridor also gives doctoral students the opportunity to share insights into their research. The event features job and internship information, alongside speakers and sessions designed to offer new perspectives on careers in geoscience. Its partners include organisations active in areas such as sustainable energy, water, soil, infrastructure, environmental consulting and geological science. The next edition is scheduled for 5 February 2027 at the Beatrix Theater. Through its programme and partner network, the Earth Science Career Event helps students and graduates discover opportunities and consider their future in the geosciences.
